Responsibilities:
Working on new technologies such as future fuel for our engines
Planning, preparation and execution of measurement tasks in the Laboratory and at licensees abroad
Sensor application on test parts and engines
PC based data acquisition and analysis of measuring data
Documentation and presentation of measurements in technical reports
Maintenance of technical measuring equipment, incl. calibration
Consultant for experts and design engineers
Knowhow build-up in area of expertise
MSc degree or similar (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) preferable with professional education as car mechanic, electrician, poly mechanic or other technical educations
Willingness for hands on work on our 2-Stroke large bore Diesel and Gas engines
Good team minding and communication skills
Self-organised working
Evaluating new test and measurement equipment
Willingness for irregular travelling abroad
Good engine knowledge (mechanic, thermodynamic) is welcome
Preferable already some basic knowledge of measuring techniques (sensors and signal conditioning)
Good English skills
