vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector

Your tasks:

• Define the target and transition architecture for GPS initiatives, ensuring alignment with the wider enterprise architecture vision
• Own solution blueprints and transition roadmaps for the target application landscape
• Support architecture governance and ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and guidelines
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Managers, Product Owners, and Agile teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
• Contribute innovative and practical solutions for markets, technology, and financial industry developments

Your experience/knowledge:

• Proven multi-year experience as a System Architect within the financial industry or banking-focused consulting
• Strong understanding of markets environments, ideally with experience in trading, execution, or derivatives issuing architecture
• Experience with integration technologies such as streaming, messaging, and web services
• Hands-on experience in web software development is a strong advantage, for example Java, .NET, JavaScript, React, Angular, relational databases, or NoSQL databases
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and tools; certification such as TOGAF or BIZBOK is highly desirable
• Language skills: fluent English
• Your soft skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas to technical and business stakeholders
• Collaborative approach with a strong drive to improve the status quo and share knowledge
