For our technology team in Zurich, we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and interfaces that drive the digitalization of our internal processes. What would your role be?

• Develop internal applications and/or configure commercial off-the-shelf solutions (e.g., Atlassian Jira) to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency
• Take ownership of new projects, including requirements engineering, solution design, and architecture, ensuring scalable and robust outcomes
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, processes, and standards
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for software features, processes, and workflows to ensure clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders
• Act as a trusted partner by troubleshooting and resolving issues in software applications, ensuring smooth and reliable operations

What are we looking for?

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a completed software engineering apprenticeship
• Solid experience with Java/Kotlin and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, showcasing your ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver impactful results
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools, particularly in configuring and operating Jira and/or willingness to develop such skills
• A growth mindset: You’re eager to learn, take responsibility, and continuously develop yourself
• Good communication skills in English (mandatory) and German (highly desirable)
