Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee tax matters across multiple European countries, including Eastern Europe
• Lead and proactively manage tax audits with local authorities at federal, regional, and local levels
• Ensure corporate income tax compliance in coordination with shared services and external advisors
• Act as a key advisor to internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, HR, Supply Chain, Business Development, etc.)
• Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks across the region
• Monitor and coordinate transfer pricing matters and related documentation
• Track and evaluate legislative changes and their impact on the business
• Review contracts and business initiatives from a tax perspective
• Drive process improvements and reduce complexity within the tax function

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law, ideally with a specialization in Tax

• Several years of experience in tax, ideally within Pharma or Big4

• Strong knowledge of international tax regulations, especially in Europe and Eastern Europe

• Solid experience in tax audits, compliance, and tax accounting

• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders

• Fluent in English; German is a plus
