And we do so in an environment that we enjoy, where success is achieved together and everyone feels comfortable
      • Networks are your home—from classic enterprise setups to modern SD-WAN and SASE architectures? You don't just want to operate, you want to actively develop, automate, and secure? Then you're a perfect fit for our team
      • You plan, operate, and optimize complex enterprise networks—from the core to the access layer. Switching, routing, and segmentation are part of your everyday work, as is dealing with protocols and technologies such as Spanning Tree, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Multicast, and QoS
      • You will be technically responsible for setting up, configuring, and securely operating firewall and security solutions – based on Fortinet and Versa Networks, among others. You will ensure clean segmentation, policies, and secure transitions between network zones

You are comfortable in heterogeneous network landscapes and work confidently with solutions from various manufacturers such as Cisco, Fortinet, Versa Networks, and F5. You recognize when each stack plays to its strengths and integrate the components into a stable overall platform

      Multi-vendor environments:

      • You work closely with colleagues from engineering, regularly exchange best practices, and support the development of expertise within the team
      • You will take on technical responsibility in customer projects—from requirements analysis to design and implementation to operation—and work closely with sales and manufacturer partners, e.g., in pre-sales phases (RFP, RFQ)
      • You will help to further develop our engineering standards, share your knowledge (e.g., in internal workshops or white papers), and be a sought-after sparring partner for technical questions

      WIE DIR DAS GELINGT

      • You have a degree in IT or a comparable technical qualification and at least five to six years of experience as a network or network security engineer – ideally in 2nd and 3rd level support and in a project environment
      • You have in-depth knowledge of switching and routing technologies and are familiar with relevant protocols such as Spanning Tree, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Multicast, and QoS. Network segmentation and secure architecture concepts are second nature to you
      • You have practical experience with network security and firewalls – especially with solutions from F5, Fortinet, and Versa Networks. Ideally, you also have experience with F5 BIG-IP and NGINX
      • You are not only familiar with SD-WAN, but have also been involved in its operation, rollout, or migration. Experience in wireless and campus networks is a plus
      • You are confident in using Python or have a demonstrable interest in developing your skills in this area. You have a fundamental understanding of automation and “infrastructure as code.”
      • Automation & Scripting Mindset:
      • You have at least a current CCNP or FCP level or comparable manufacturer certification – or are willing to acquire one in the near future
      • You impress with your analytical thinking, enjoyment of complex troubleshooting, clear, solution-oriented approach, and high level of service orientation towards our customers and colleagues
      • Soft skills:
      • You communicate confidently in English (at least C1 level) and have good Italian or French skills – both written and spoken
