Your tasks:

• Development of Python components within the financial and reserving system upgrade
• Contribute to continued development of system documentation and to the testing of components
• Integration of components with databases and internal and external web services
• Contribute to the improvement of best practices and code quality

Your experience/knowledge:

• Actuarial knowledge ideally from non-life reserving and/or IFRS17 implementations
• Strong hand-on on experience developing in Python and knowledge of core numerical libraries like Pandas, Polars, Numpy
• Good SQL-/database knowledge and experience with commonly used Python components for integration with databases especially Sqlalchemy, Alembic, Pydantic
• Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops, gIt, and web services is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
• Language skills: English
