Job Qualifications

• Required:
• Bachelor's or Master degree in Actuary, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in pricing analysis or finance
• Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python/R, and dashboard tools

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

• Provide basic actuarial services under direct instruction of a more experienced actuary
• Perform statistical analyses, model and analyze data and develop models and programs for model building and analyses; interpret results of models and analyses
• Compile and categorize data and document and verify factors and assumptions used in computations to ensure robust output
• Assist in the development of risk based capital models as well as parameterization and allocation activities to support actuarial services
• Participate in the evaluation and review of new and proposed processes and systems
• Demonstrate increasing knowledge of actuarial disciplines and procedures to build value adding, relevant technical knowledge
• Work with actuarial colleagues to develop understanding of company operations, business objectives and actuarial methodologies
• Actively pursue local actuarial qualification
