This is a fulltime hybrid role where you will be working from our office in Diegem, Belgium
To support Zurich Insurance’s growing business, we are seeking to strengthen the IT department with an IT Governance Analyst
This new role will be focused on the design, implementation and execution of an efficient and effective regulatory compliance process for the IT department, aiming at assuring compliance with overall policies, documented operational processes and regulatory laws
Lead, assist and comply with overall IT Governance topics
Prepare, facilitate, assist and follow-up to ensure timely closure on IT internal and external audit topics, helping driving any resolution of deficiencies or outstanding items
Coordinate and drive with the BeNe Legal/Compliance/Procurement/Risk team full adherence to Zurich policies and responsibilities (i.e. Information Risk, Security & Crisis management, Outsourcing)
Lead and assist on Third Party Governance Framework, including all topics related to the due diligence
Review and agree any governance topic approach with the key stakeholders
Coordinate, assist, support and if needed translate group policies to local policies (i.e. Information Risk, Security & Crisis management, Outsourcing) in alignment with BeNe Legal/Compliance/Procurement/Risk
Support the delivery of projects to identify, implement improvements and updates related to governance & policies
Keep governance documents up to date, including terms of reference and planning processes
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Economics / Compliance / Legal (or other relevant degree)
Minimum of 1-2 years directly related experience in Governance (Audit (Internal/external), Procurement or Operational controls)
Relevant working experience in Insurance sector (preferable), Banking or Financial Services
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English is required, Dutch or French is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills;
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
Experience of managing regulatory relationships
