Job Description

“The IT Enterprise Architect is responsible for developing, maintaining, and governing the enterprise technology architecture of Kanadevia Inova in alignment with business priorities, Group IT & Digital Services standards, and the target operating model.

The role translates strategic direction into practical and implementable architecture guidance across applications, platforms, integrations, infrastructure, and shared technology standards. It is deliberately positioned as a technology-oriented and execution-near architecture role with a strong focus on implementation support, technical consistency, and architecture quality assurance across projects and operational changes”

• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture across applications, platforms, integrations, infrastructure, and shared services.
• Define and govern architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and approved technology patterns to ensure consistency across the enterprise.
• Review solution designs and major technology decisions to ensure alignment with target architecture, security, compliance, resilience, maintainability, and operational support requirements.
• Create and maintain architecture transparency through current-state and target-state views, dependency maps, interface landscapes, transition architectures, and architecture decision records.
• Guide modernization and standardization initiatives, including application modernization, legacy replacement, platform consolidation, cloud adoption, integration improvements, and M&A-related integration activities.
• Collaborate with project teams, application owners, infrastructure specialists, Security & Risk, and external vendors to reduce complexity, avoid duplication, manage technical risks, and improve the overall technology landscape.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, application architecture, infrastructure architecture, or comparable senior technical roles.
• Proven experience in complex enterprise technology landscapes, including applications, integrations, cloud/infrastructure design, platform standardization, and system lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of architecture methods and governance, including architecture standards, reference models, target-state views, design reviews, and architecture documentation.
• Ability to assess solution designs and guide technical decisions with a pragmatic focus on security-by-design, resilience, compliance, maintainability, and business value.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across international, matrixed, and multi-stakeholder environments and explain architecture topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
