• We at Team Hermes are responsible for the financial aspects of Switzerland's largest online shop. We are looking for you to join our team as a Junior or Intermediate Software Engineer. Your commitment will have a direct impact on more than 15 of our online shop development teams and 4 million active customers in Switzerland and Europe

Deine Aufgaben

• Shape the full-stack conception, implementation, and testing of features—from database schema to API design, backend services, and responsive front-end experiences
• Leverage your sense of end-to-end performance (from database queries to API latency) to make our shop lightning-fast and efficient
• Become proficient in DevOps and participate in maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud environments, containerization, and automated deployments for both backend and front-end
• As a team player, communicate openly, transparently, and understandably across disciplines, give constructive feedback on code and architecture, and accept it with gratitude

Deine Fähigkeiten

• With at least 1 year of experience in software development as well as a higher professional education in the field of computer science (ETH/UNI/ FH ) or comparable professional experience, you bring a solid foundation
• Modern frontend frameworks are your passion
• Experience with our tech stack (TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Next.js, C# .NET Core, Rust) is an advantage – but more importantly, you have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new technologies
• You're on the pulse of technology trends and have a good sense of their potential
• You enjoy acquiring knowledge about new technologies, deepening existing know-how, and sharing it with others
• With your positive attitude and a good sense of humor, you will enrich our team
• You are courageous and open to unconventional ideas, but always act responsibly
• You can communicate in English effortlessly
• You are a EU/EFTA citizen or have a valid B- or C-permit
