this is a long term contract opportunity to join our Switzerland based client in the Financial Services sector
Your tasks:
Own, develop, maintain, and refine the detailed financial close calendar
Act as the operational lead during the close window, tracking progress against the plan
Conduct post-close reviews to analyse performance and propose improvements
Build relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, & Actuaries
Ensure the close process controls are operated in a robust manner and compliant to governance standards
Your experience/knowledge:
Proven operations expertise in a complex environment involving IT and financial closing
Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing skills
Higher education in a related field
Language skills: English – fluent
Your soft skills:
Highly proactive with strong organisational discipline
Calm under pressure
Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
