Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support and troubleshooting:
Provide Level 1 & Level 2 support for software applications, services, and digital solutions
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Windows, and application environments
Troubleshoot installation, configuration, and system performance problems
Work closely with development, IT, and network teams to ensure smooth operations
Install, configure, and manage software applications, services, and IT solutions
Perform regular system maintenance, patches, and updates
Ensure proper configuration and optimization of Windows based systems
Assist users with technical queries and provide end-user training when needed
Document troubleshooting steps, configuration guides, and best practices
Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues effectively
Coordinate and assist the deployment of product for new installations or updates, including coordinating and supporting the onsite engineer tasks. Ensuring smooth deployment pipelines
Ensure that the WiDE systems comply with maritime regulatory standards and safety protocols, providing necessary documentation and guidance
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years in technical support roles, preferably in industry remote monitoring, control systems or maritime solutions
Knowledge of remote monitoring and diagnostics systems, including real-time monitoring, data acquisition, transmission, and cloud integration
Experience in Windows applications / services / scripts (installation, configuration, and troubleshooting). Familiar with Linux is a plus
Experience with software application support, including deployment and configuration
Experience in IT services, networking, and security principles
Hands-on experience with network cabling, switches, routers, and access points
Experience with database management (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus
Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving both hardware and software in remote monitoring and control environments
Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate with on-site engineers and explain complex technical issues clearly
Experience with remote monitoring and control tools, ticketing systems (e.g., Jira), and basic knowledge of maritime regulations
