Are you excited by the opportunity to shape reliable, high-performing application platforms in a modern DevOps environment? Do you enjoy combining automation, operations, and innovation to build resilient services that are ready for production at scale? We are looking for an Application DevOps Engineer to help drive automated deployments, GitOps-based delivery, and infrastructure-as-code across cloud and on-premise environments. In this role, you will work closely with application development teams to ensure stable, low-latency, and secure operations while continuously improving deployment workflows, monitoring, and platform resilience.
What You Will Do
- Design, implement, andmaintainautomated deployment workflows using Ansible and GitLab CI/CD.
- Own end‑to‑endGitOpsdeployment processes using GitLab CI/CD, including environment promotion, rolloutstrategiesand configuration management.
- Build andmaintaininfrastructure-as-code solutions for application and platform components using tools such as Helm, Terraform, and Ansible to ensure repeatable, auditable changes.
- Support andoptimizeon-premiseand cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft platforms and Azure administration, with a focus on resilience, performance, and low-latency readiness.
- Define and continuously improve monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks to strengthen operational stability and incident response.
- Develop automation and integration scripts in PowerShell, Python, Perl, Bash, and CMD, and work with structured formats such as XML, JSON, and XSL whererequired.
- Operate and support monitoring and job scheduling platforms such as Patrol, Elastic, Grafana, and Airflow.

What You Bring
- Strong DevOps mindset with experience across the software delivery lifecycle and operating production systems.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure in complex environments, including Cisco, Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Kerberos, and virtualized platforms.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and shell, along with practical experience using GitLab CI/CD; experiencewith Ansible and infrastructure-as-code is highly valued.
- Solid understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals, and containerization concepts such as Docker,Podman, OpenShift images, registries, runtime, and security.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk, or similar tools in containerized environments.
- Strong security awareness, including PKI certificate handling,firewalladministration, vulnerability management, and work in security-conscious environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a structured approach to incident, problem, release, and change management.
- Experience supporting operational stability, compliance, disaster recovery planning, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- FluentEnglish;German and/or Spanish are an advantage.
