As a Senior Executive – Property & Engineering Claims, you will be responsible for the timely, fair, and accurate assessment and settlement of Property and Engineering claims. You will work closely with customers, intermediaries, loss adjusters, and internal stakeholders to deliver excellent claims service while ensuring compliance with Zurich's claims guidelines, regulatory requirements, and service standards
Handle Property and Engineering claims from registration through to settlement, ensuring timely and accurate claim resolution
Assess claim validity, policy coverage, liability, and quantum in accordance with company guidelines and delegated authority limits
Review supporting documentation and investigate claims to facilitate fair and equitable settlements
Manage and coordinate with customers, brokers, agents, loss adjusters, surveyors, and other relevant stakeholders throughout the claims lifecycle
Escalate complex, contentious, or high-value claims to management where appropriate
Ensure claims are processed in compliance with Zurich's policies, regulatory requirements, and service standards
Monitor claim progress and proactively follow up on outstanding information to achieve service level targets.Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate suspicious claims in accordance with established procedures
Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience.Support team knowledge sharing and provide guidance to junior team members when required
Skills & Experience:
Demonstrated experience in property claims handling, ideally in an insurance environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering fair outcomes
Good organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with relevant insurance regulations and compliance requirements
