We will support you in using your medical skills to enable an active listening service to support our members in coping with the news of a cancer diagnosis, further explaining possible treatment and surgery pathways, reassuring, and supporting through treatment and its affects, as well as potentially liaising with treating teams

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly skilled, and personable nurse who has maintained their Nursing registration with cancer-based expertise. It is important you can evidence development and have the ability to effectively organise your own caseload and embrace positive change. Ideally, recent experience of care for working age patients in Oncology or hospice-based work is helpful. We are also seeking a nurse who can signpost to valuable resources including charities and other reputable advisory organisations
