As a team, we work closely with the Business Unit leadership to drive performance and help shape the future of Beyond Gravity – on Earth and beyond
Your Mission:
Act as sparring partner for the Business Unit in all financial matters
Drive P&L, balance sheet, and free cash flow performance together with BU leadership. Control the business with key performance indicators that drive the success of the unit, providing high transparency and consistency
Prepare and communicate monthly financial reporting to senior management, providing insights and recommendations
Review and challenge project performance and evaluate the risks and opportunities in close collaboration with BU Program Management
Conduct cost center reviews with the BU’s functional leaders and evaluate cost-improvement opportunities
Understands the dynamics and dependencies of the cash flows of the units and has the influence into the organization to drive it
Lead financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and business planning
Build financial models and business cases for internal initiatives, including CAPEX, and external customer projects
Support internal and external audits by preparing financial documentation, responding to audit requests, and following up on agreed actions
Your Story:
Your hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
You bring relevant experience in Controlling, Finance, FP&A, or a similar business-oriented function
You are confident working with financial data and translating numbers into meaningful business insights
You combine strong analytical skills with a pragmatic, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach
At least 5-7 years of experience in financial and business controlling
Acted as the key finance partner / Business Controller in a previous role
Experience in project-based business
d understanding and handling of financial processes in ERP systems
English is a must (min C1), German is nice to have
Aerospace industry knowledge
Senior management exposure and experience working in an international environment
