Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant with knowledge of Dynamics 365 Sales & Power Platform to join us in Zurich in a position that requires a mix of remote and on-site work in a hybrid model.

As a Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring and optimizing solutions in Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Insights (CI) and Power Platform. This role will involve gathering business requirements, configuring solutions, training users and ensuring smooth adoption of Dynamics 365 capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in CRM implementation, business process automation and stakeholder engagement to drive efficiency and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Configure MS Dynamics 365 Sales for lead management, opportunity tracking, sales pipeline automation and customer engagement
• Implement Customer Insights (CI) to aggregate, unify and analyze customer data for enhanced personalization and decision-making
• Define business rules, workflows and automated triggers to improve sales and marketing operations
• Work closely with business stakeholders, sales teams and marketing teams to understand CRM needs, pain points and process inefficiencies
• Leverage Power Automate to create process automation between Dynamics 365 and other business applications
• Collaborate with technical teams to define integration points between MS Dynamics 365 and third-party applications (ERP, Java-based systems, marketing tools, etc.)
• Assist with data migration, cleansing and governance to ensure high-quality data in Dynamics 365
• Provide training, documentation and user guides to ensure adoption of Dynamics 365 solutions
• Work with end users to optimize CRM usability, dashboards and reporting functionalities
• Support stakeholders in understanding new features and process improvements

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant, Business Analyst or CRM Specialist working with MS Dynamics 365 Sales & Power Platform
• Strong understanding of sales processes, customer engagement models and marketing automation
• Hands-on experience configuring MS Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Insights (CI) and Power Automate
• Familiarity with data models, security roles, business rules and workflows in MS Dynamics 365
• Experience with Power BI dashboards and report development
• Basic understanding of data integration, API connectivity and Azure services for Dynamics 365
• Ability to work with SQL databases, data exports and system configurations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work with business teams, developers and leadership
• Proficient communication skills in English are a must and good knowledge of German
